About

I am an interdisciplinary scholar-artist based in Toronto, Ontario. My scholarly work and artistic practice spans aesthetic philosophy, digital humanities, poetry, multimedia performance art, and artist-led machine learning. I received my PhD in philosophy from Queen’s Univeristy in 2026. In Spring 2024, I was a visitng student at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge working on AI art and creativity.

Current projects include: a scholarly exploration of the relationship between AI-image generation and older practices of remix, a collaborative performance piece that explores themes of art, technology, and gender, and the collaborative curation of a 2SLGBTQIA+ art dataset, among the first of its kind.

When I’m not writing (poetry, philosophy, or otherwise) I enjoy exploring the city and listening to vinyl (especially jazz, funk, and psychedelic music).
